Although it’s only listed on the menu with the homemade shrimp bisque, you can always buy one by itself or with a side of fries or fruit if you don’t prefer the bisque. For this limited time celebration, we’re offering you a SUPER deal on this CCK specialty! One Galactic Grilled Cheese with a side of French fries for only $3.95! Yes, you heard me right; and this isn’t your grandma’s grilled cheese… this is several slices of melted cheddar & provolone cheese with two grilled, seasoned, tomato slices and served on a thick, garlic herb, white bread. So if you can’t afford to eat at Encore’s restaurant week next week, or don’t have the time to sit down for lunch, call us up the 22nd – 1st and order a Galactic Grilled Cheese with French fries for only $3.95! It’s also that time of the year again where Wilmington votes for its Top Chef! We’re very honored to have had our Chef, Chris Lubben, nominated again this year and even more pleased that he’s made it to the top 25 so far. If you’d like to see him advance, don’t forget to vote! Round 2 voting goes until March 29th. What is the Top Chef competition? Here is an excerpt from the StarNews:

Each year, the StarNews compiles a list of noted chefs in the Wilmington area, based on feedback from editors, food critics, readers and local culinary experts. Visitors to StarNewsOnline.com then vote for their favorites and help us narrow the list. The Top 10 chefs are featured in the StarNews, and the Top Three chefs compete Iron-Chef style for the chance to be named the Wilmington area’s Top Chef. The winner will be announced at the Fourth Annual Taste of Wilmington Food & Wine Festival on May 15.
